This a unique multi-layered artwork. The butterfly is perfectly placed in a central composition on a circular canvas mounted on top of a beautifully textured acrylic frame speckled with a deep blue, black and gold marbled effect.
On close inspection the wings reveal their true form created from subtle imagery of mountain landscape, vibrant textured patterns and striking markings emulating the intricacy of a butterfly's wing perfectly.
This piece is created in stages, adding layer upon layer of textured paints, glitter pigment, spray paint and resin to create the final result. The outcome is a stunningly modern work that will make a statement in any space. This piece measures at 101cm x 101cm.
